How We Partner

A Partnership Built Around Your Students

Errold brings a decade inside higher education, spanning admissions, financial aid, and student engagement, to every partnership we build.

Built to Embed, Not Replace

Verlee's Garden doesn't parachute in with a one-size-fits-all curriculum. We embed within your existing structure, learn your students and staff, and build alongside what's already working rather than asking you to replace it.

How Partnering Works

01

Initial Conversation

We start by learning about your students, your goals, and where you need support.

02

Needs Assessment

We take time to understand your community: existing programs, gaps, and what would genuinely help.

03

Partnership Design

Together we scope the right mix of services, format, and length for your situation.

04

Delivery & Reporting

We do the work, and keep you informed throughout with regular updates on student progress and program impact.

Who We Partner With

Verlee's Garden partners with schools and community organizations. We work with either type of partner, and while we're currently based in Atlanta and New York City, we're open to partnering beyond those two cities.

What a Partnership Looks Like

There's no one size fits all engagement. Partnerships can take the shape of a single session, half day sessions, full day sessions, a semester long series, or a full academic year residency, scoped around your calendar, your students, and your goals rather than a fixed package. We focus on real engagement with every student, and we work with you to schedule sessions in a way that reaches your full student population over time.

What a Session Can Include

🏢

Site Visits

Taking students out of the classroom and into real workplaces, where partnerships allow, so they can see a career or industry firsthand, not just hear about it.

🎤

Guest Speakers

Professionals and changemakers sharing real world perspective.

📋

Case Studies

Real scenarios students work through together.

🙋

Student-Led Sessions

Students taking ownership of discussions and presentations, not just receiving information.

Tracking Progress & Impact

Every student we work with has a file we maintain throughout the partnership, tracking their progress toward their own goals. For a student applying to college, that might mean their school list, essay drafts, and application status. For a student on a different path, it might mean job readiness milestones or a business plan taking shape. Alongside individual student tracking, we provide school and organization leadership with regular impact reports, so you can see how the partnership is working across your student population.

What We Ask From Partners

A designated point of contact on your team, access to the students and space needed for sessions, and openness to shaping the work together rather than treating it as a fixed, pre-packaged program.
